Awakened from all around California remember Sacramento. They remember that it was a thriving community of mages that had lived fairly quietly for many years. Then some twenty years ago, there had been excited talk about a new Consillium being elected. Then silence....

Representatives from each Order were sent, and investigations began. Headed by Thearch Peter Cartright, they soon discovered that Banishers were also becoming more bold, attempting to seize the city. Already a city in turmoil, the influx of new Mages made Sacramento reach it’s boiling point.

Confrontations with roaming Banishers became common, and concern grew when Hierarch Peter Cartright was strangely murdered. At the same time, the head of the Guardians, Niles Plotski, was discovered to be a Cultist of the Doomsday Clock. Although a cabal of Arrows were able to put a stop to Plotski, the murder of Cartright remains unsolved.

Not all news was bad news, though. A group of Mages, led by Armstrong and Joshua Morris, were able to penetrate the mystery of the disappearing Mages. After a lengthy and deadly battle in the Shadow, the cyclical ritual that had caused the disappearances was broken.

Today, Sacramento’s Awakened struggle to restore order. With the formation of an official Consilium, Order members work to establish their presence, opposed by a still-strong Banisher faction, and the question mark of Peter Cartright’s death. Several Mages have also fallen to Necromancy and to assassins. A strong Arrow presence has been called for, but is yet unable to ensure safety for all.
