Werewolf Character Guidelines

Please direct questions and character submissions to the Forsaken Story Teller shouldabeenadog

Experience Allowances

1) Pup (Beginner)- 60 Experience or less

Pup (Beginner) characters do not require a submitted background nor do they require ST approval. You may not use anything from the Restrictions list when making an instant play character however, and you must stay within the 60 XP allowance. Additionally, your character has been either less than 1 year forsaken, or is not from Sacramento.

All Beginner characters must be submitted to the ST before IC posting may begin.

2) Warrior (Mainstream)- 61-160 Experience or less

A Warrior character is older and more experienced then a pup. This type of character likely had a impressive background in another city.
Warrior characters may have restricted items, but they also require a background and ST approval.

3) Scarred One (Elder)- 161-300 Experience or less

A scarred one is a fairly old (40) or thoroughly tested werewolf. This type of character had an impressive background in another city before coming to Sacramento. Each player may have one Elder character.
This type of character may have items from the Restricted list but the character must have an extensive background. We are not demanding an explanation of every single dot on your character sheet, but we do wish that you give it your all.
Scarred Ones require ST approval.

All lodges are restricted. Joining a lodge is an important thing, and not to be taken lightly.

Any Pure or bale hound lodge is not for player characters.

-Skills 4 or higher
-Fighting style merits above 3
-Resources above 3
-Contracts and/or Allies above 2
-Retainers above 3
-Any Renown at 3
-Harmony 5 or below
-Primal Urge at or above 3
-Anything taken from the Custom Content page

Things that do not exist:
Rite of Hallow Touchstone

Restricted books

We are not restricting our players from using any Werewolf: The Forsaken books. We do ask that players use their common sense and good judgment regarding some items in these books. (i.e. The Pure/Blasphemies. Almost all of those gifts and rites are not for Forsaken)

As White Wolf feels the need to scatter their Merits in all of their books, we would request that you please list the book and page number you found the Merit. It would make it easier for us in case it is not a well-known Merit or Gift.

Changes:

Changes to Harmony: (Replaces current sins)
Level 7- Spending too much time alone, violating a tribal Vow (minor)
Level 4- Using a silver weapon against another werewolf, significantly violating a tribal vow.

These changes were made to make Tribes more important, and to remove the sin of revealing the existence to humans. That is a violation of the Oath of the Moon, but is not a sin against Harmony. There are no spiritual repercussions to revealing yourselves to humans, just bad physical and social ones.

Totem Merit:
Points spent in Totem merit are held in reserve until you have joined a pack, where they are added to the Totem's pool.

Wolf-Blooded

Pup Wolf-Blooded must follow the same restrictions as instant play Werewolves listed above.
