A Consilium meeting convened to welcome new mages and replace missing Councilors^[1].

Consilium

The Consilium was reached by traveling through a portal created by West (Mage). After all attending had gone through, the portal was closed, leaving the Consilium to meet securely in a remote jungle. Pulp Noir called the meeting to order. Animus, the Heirarch, appointed Ariadne as the Mastigos Councilor. West, a Sentinel, pointed out that the Animus did not have the authority to appoint a Councilor by himself. Animus conceded the point and Councilors Joshua Morris and Rosh formed a majority to appoint Ariadne as an an interim Councilor, until the Mastigos could meet on their own terms and appoint their own representative. Animus then declared that each Councilor would need to appoint a Provost.

Other news reported by Rosh that a Seer had been taking over local gangs, and arming Sleepers with magical items. He also announced his intent to lead a group to repair damaged Ley Lines at Tower Bridge.

From then on, Ahriman suggested that mages collaborate to Ward their homes more securely and secretly. West officially declared his intent to take on Vaeltia as an Aapprentice. Pulp Noir announced the formation of a cabal named the Torchbearers of Prometheus, and included a non-resident Mage. Gallows then announced the formation of Cabals. Noctina announced the formation of a cabal that had yet to be named. Various new mages introduced themselves to the Consilium. In addition to announcing himself, Miach also reported on a strange encounter with some sort of ghost or spirit. Due to concerns over absent mages being declared parts of cabals, Animus suggested levying penalties on mages who did not attend Consilium.

West also stepped down as Sentinel, and Mike Tamwood volunteered and was accepted as his replacement. Various Path meetings were announced, as well as the next Silver Ladder Caucus. The Consilium meeting was then dispersed, and West opened a portal back to Sacramento.
