Daniel Rickson

As a boy, Daniel could never understand just why there were criminals in the world. Surely there must have been some other choice they could have made, done something other than lie or steal. Even Daniel wasn't so sure why he thought this way, but he simply felt driven to enforce the rules in any activity he joined in, even when it drove others away.

Growing up, Daniel's unease seemed to spread. Every human he laid eyes on he felt uneasy, like they were breaking some sort of law that they weren't even aware of. In college, though he proved to be an effective speaker for student's rights and a favorite among the faculty he only really felt comfortable during his nightly walks across the campus.

It was during such a walk that the strange dog attacked him. It was only a few nights later that he found himself stumbling out into the dorm quadrangle in a feverish frenzy. He could hear the voices of the stars but they were so quiet, drowned by the artificial lights around him. Daniel wound up spending the night of his first change rampaging far and wide across his school, tearing apart every streetlamp and car headlight he saw in an attempt to allow the stars their turn to speak.

Fortunately for Daniel he was found the next morning by the same werewolf that had bit him. A wizened Storm Lord that had picked up on Daniel's impending change and was set on bringing him into the fold. Finally Daniel could have a sense of belonging with his fellow werewolves, working to uphold the balance between the spirit and human worlds.

Daniel's human form is a young man with dark hair. He's a bit scrawny, but well kept and well spoken. He carries himself with confidence.

His wolf and werewolf forms both have a stark gray pelt and icy blue eyes. Daniel considers this fitting since his initiation into the Storm Lords required him to stand through a terrible blizzard without complaint or showing weakness.
