Elektra Powers was given her first skateboard around the age of 7. Ever since, she would always beg her dad to take her to the skate park instead of the playground until she was finally of an age where they let her go on her own. However, because of her knack for the sport and enjoyment in showing off, the third time she went at around the age of 13, a group of high school boys bullied her and her friends out. When she tried standing up to the injustice, she got smacked to the ground and ended up coming home with a bruise that her dad knew wasn't from falling, despite how much she would insist that that was what happened.
That was when her dad enrolled her and her little brother, who was following in her footsteps of enjoying extreme sports, in Jujutsu. Elektra quickly climbed the ranks, attaining her brown belt in only two years. In that time, though, her brother, her friends, and she had settled with just making their own halfpipe in order to practice, only going to the skate park to participate in competitions. They would sometimes also go to another skate park that was farther away, but it wasn’t as good of quality as their favorite one.
While near the end of her college career, Elektra got scouted at a tournament and was asked if she wanted to take a sponsorship. After thinking it over a bit and talking with her dad for some advice, she finally accepted. She now lives in Sacramento, but travels all over the country to participate in all sorts of extreme sports ranging from skateboarding to surfing to snowboarding. Most recently, she has actually started climbing the ranks among the professionals, making the top 8 rather consistently in nearly every sport that she participates.
