Setting

From Chicago through to Los Angeles, Route 66 is known by many names like the Main Street of America and the Mother Road, it has been immortalised in modern culture and popular myth. It has its own rules, its own stories and its own mythology.

So when pilgrim marks begin to spring up a various points along the road, wastelands develop where thriving natural sites once were, reports of mobs spreading like wildfire and even stranger rumours can be found through the Ramble of the Created, Promethean's take notice. One rumour in particular stands out like a blazing fire and it goes like this; "The Mother Road has seen more New Dawn's in the last decade than anywhere else in America, let along the world."

This is the path you now tread. It is long, unforgiving and filled with wonder and horror. Danger is around every corner, if not from others then from your own being. No-one wants you, no-one likes you but there is always Hope.

And Hope can change the world.

Its not the destination but the journey that matters. Simple words but make no mistake, the Pilgrimage is long and hard, and even though every one of the Created has some understanding of their overall goal in this world, it is equally important not to forget the steps that gets them there. Every day is a struggle but every day is another moment of simply existing.
