Character Creation

  • All characters begin at Tier 1 and are able to spend 0-30xp.
  • No FOB characters. Every character must have at least some understanding of Promethean existance and the Pilgrimage. Additionally, I would like your character to be between 3 and 12 months since being created.
  • Humanity can be lowered to 6 for 5xp.
  • Core book Refinements and Lineages only. Further Refinements may be allowed as the story progresses.
  • Additional Transmutations and Bestowments from Strange Alchemies are allowed.
  • Athanors must be chosen through IC interaction and discovery.

Banned Stuff

  • Pandoran Transmutations or the Refinement of Flux.
  • Lineages: Unfleshed, Zeka
  • The following Promethean Merits are banned: Device, FS: Mulit-Limbed Combat, Incorruptible, Shepherd

Gallery Descriptions & Signatures

  • Please post an entry in the Wiki. A Picture of your character isn't necessary (especially if it's Micky Rourke as Marv, DeNiro's Frankenstein... obvious stuff), although a brief written description of their 'mundane' appearance and what they look like with visible disfigurements is required.
  • Prometheans need to have a signature line which includes the character's name and lineage.

Systems

Azoth

Please roll Azoth at the beginning of each scene even if your character is having mortal contact or not. There are other things in this lonely world that reacts to your Azoth after all. The result will be applied for the entire scene unless certain actions dictate a re-roll.

Transmutations

  • Ingrained Reflexes (Strange Alchemies p.77) is now a 3-dot power.
  • Shock (Core p.132) can be activated a maximum of once per turn.

Pyros Pools

Pyros begins equal to the character's Humanity and will be replenished at a rate of one point per scene if on a new day, in addition to the replenishment bonuses each lineage can amass if they fulfil criteria listed in the core book. Pyros can be gained from certain ingame phenomena, such as natural thunderstorms, etc.

Additionally, if a Glimpse is written as a way of representing the regaining of Pyros, this will replenish the pool completely.

Willpower

Per WoD core, WP refreshes once a Story ends; otherwise, it's through four means:

  • fulfilling your Virtue
  • fulfilling your Vice
  • small 'triumphs'
  • a night of rest

Willpower pools will not refresh every Scene. They will be a constant, and must be tracked in your signature lines. For every New Scene a character enters (which is not linked to another same-day Scene) the character adds 1 WP to their total. This is to simulate the night of rest. Otherwise, it can only be regained through Virtue/Vice & possible triumphant acts. Scene-hopping to abuse the system will be Not Good (tm).

Occult

Occult encompasses a very broad and general knowledge; some things you may not know without a relevant specialty. What I'd like to do is outline here what you can expect to know at the different levels, and what Specialties and/or Penalties you might expect. This is from the PtC perspective only. This is also a guideline -- IC experiences override this.
