Discription: 5'9, black hair and good looking, Richard could turn a head or two. he was hansom to a fault growing up and never had a shortage of partners in life.
Due to the circumstances of his embrace Richards skin has a pale sickly look that only adds to his allure. his liver had started to fail during the months before his embrace when the end of his life grew near and his brown eyes took on a yellowish tinge, making them slightly golden and otherworldly. when activating blush of health Richard takes on a shine of sweat and looks feverish.

Richard was born to a wealhly english family, whom immigrated to america in the 1980's. growing up he had all the trappings of a rich life style. good clothing, good food, fast cars and the best tutors money could buy.
by his early twenties Richard had shown an intrest in both engineering and buisness, and his family continued to encourage him to expand the therion empire.
Richard enjoyed lording his money over his freinds and class mates and seemed to posess a natrual ruthlessness for buisness, within five years Richard had built his own empire rivaling his fathers, owning laundry matts, apartment buildings, metal works, steel mills and shipping traders.
Richards life changed with his mid twentys, he grew ill suddonly and was taken to hospital after collapsing in his home. after running test after test the doctors gave there diagnosis. Richard had a rare blood desiese, one that attacked his white blood cells mercielisy.. they told him he did not have long to live.
Richard refused to belive that his life was soon to end. he spent vast sums of money and saw the best minds in medicine. being turned away time and time again Richard grew desperate and soon started searching for alternitive means to answering his problem.
Richard spent all of his time, his health contining to fail him, researching occult cures for blood desieases. he hired many snake oil salesmen and fake voodoo priests claiming to cure his ills for a cash sum. nothing inproved his health. growing increasingly desperate he searched the back allyways and darkest cracks of the city for the one thing money could not by.
Eventually Richards time and money produced a usefull lead. there was a blood cult that claimed they could cure his illness, but for a price few would be willing to pay. the cult leader was a ventrue named khali, a cirlce of the crone maiden.
She spoke with Richard for some time and seeing his ruthless biusness sence and sheer determination to prolong his failing life she struck a foustian bargain.. his entire empire gifted to her and the cult, for the cure he saught... the embrace.
He made the deal, seeing no other option. he was embraced and traded his empire for the so called cure. Chase left the city and traveled to california, hopeing to rebuild his empire and fortune.
