The Forge can be classified as a nightclub only because it is a club that is open at night. The Forge is more in the vein of Fight Club then Studio 54 or Avalon. It is newly opened and operated by a unknown in the night life scene named Caster Karalis.
Information
There is a stage made from wood, masonite and black diamond plating. There is a bar area but that is about the extent of the nightclub. There are only a few tables and chairs, but none are real seating areas. It’s a big open space. There is a hallway off to the side with bathrooms. And a set of stairs that goes up to a mezzanine. The stairs have a metal gate that says private. The floor was a Masonite like material covering bare concrete.
The only thing that was out of the ordinary was a second stage enclosed in clear Plexiglas that was on a raised platform. In it was what looked to be a forge with a chimney going up through the roof to let the smoke out. The raised platform is off to the side and has the same kind of metal steps going up to it with a gate just like the other set. The gate has a lock on it and the set of stairs are enclosed with a chain link fence bent over it like an arch.
The whole place is made out of metal, wood and concrete. The only thing that moved air in the place was some slow moving industrial sized ceiling fans hanging from the steel rafters. If there are air conditioners they are never on. It isn't built to be kind or helpful to anyone. It is built for a singular purpose, to listen to music, and punish bodies. No cuddly shit here.
Notes
- The Fight Cage is suspended from the ceiling on heavy duty winches that can be activated to lower the cage on fight night.
- Fellow Lost know that this establishment is owned and ran by Spartan of the Summer Court
- The mezzanine area is reserved for fellow Lost, or guests in the company of a Lost. The private area has a self serve open bar for the private guests of the owner.
- Spartan employees several other Lost at The Forge. Anya Wyrmblood is the Business Manager, Mary Lee is a Bartender and Magnus Wight is a Bartender and Brewmaster
- The head bouncer and bar manager's name is Joanna Rousseau, a large powerfully built woman who is not afraid to get her hands dirty... or bloody for that matter.
Sunday Bloody Sunday
The Second Sunday of every month The Forge is closed for everyone but a very select clientele. Men and Woman looking to fight. A Cage is set up, like a MMA octogon, only without the padding. This was gladiator night, a night for warriors who are not afraid to get bloody to get hurt. Just like a mosh pit.
