Sphendule is a player on Twilight Valley who got invited to join by Kelreth, a real-life friend, in late June, 2009.
Sphendule is only really interested in Mage: the Awakening and Changeling: the Lost, since he generally doesn't like playing characters that have a strong background in evil-doing (like Vampire and Werewolf) or that are in an extremely dark and dire setting (like Hunter).
Bio
Before playing pen-and-paper RPGs, Sphendule has always been a gamer and has aspired to program for game companies since 1997. He has been working on iPhone application projects in his free time to build up his resume.
Sphendule has been playing pen-and-paper RPGs since 2004, but he didn't get introduced to any White Wolf systems until 2006 when he started with Exalted. However, most of the pen-and-paper RPGs he has been in have been run in such a fashion that usually revolved around combat. Starting off with Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 and other d20 systems certainly doesn't help to aid that trend.
Sphendule's first real foray into New World of Darkness was with Twilight Valley. He has had some experience with play-by-post roleplaying before, and is fond of writing fictional works. However, after getting a low grade (to him, anyway) in a Creative Writing course in high school, he never got fully back into it until he joined Twilight Valley.
