Storytelling Philosophy

I have been telling stories and running various games since ... 2004(?) So for about 7+ years now. I have always had one driving force behind my games and thats to have fun. If it means death defying battles with elder gods, or stealthily breaking into the mansion of a megagazzilionare to steal back something that you had stolen originally and his cronies stole from you, or simply sitting around the pub that every game has and talking shit with the crotchety old bartender, my goal is always for people to enjoy themselves.

So what do I ask of my players, to tell me if they are having fun, and to tell me if they are not. I personally love constructive feedback, love it as a player, love it as a Storyteller.

Now to my next point. I am not an encyclopedia of knowledge, I do not know every rule. I love Vampire the Requiem, have played it for 4 years now. But I have never, ever, played a member of the Ordo Dracul or the Lancea Sanctum. Have I ran games with people in those groups, certainly. But I have to go look stuff up from time to time. What this also means is I will, at times, make mistakes. If I make a mistake, and you think its something important enough to point out, please do, and I will correct it to the best of my ability.

So please, let me know what you think, let me know what I can do. And if its within the rules, and setting, I will try to help you out. Just remember, that Edge of Darkness has been active for soon to be 4 years, and you are walking into an existing world. When you start World of Warcraft, you cannot be the Arthas Menethil, and when you walk in to Sacramento, you can't be Asa Clarke or Animus, but with time, some awesome RP and some dedication, I will happily help you make your own legendary stories.
